Over the weekend I squatted down to pick up an object and heard a loud pop in my hip…I have had severe pain in my groin area and buttocks area every since. When I walk and lift my leg it hurts badly, but when I lay on my stomach with my leg hiked up to my side the pain subsides. Could this be an injury to my sciatic nerve?

I have this pain in my upper right leg right near my butt and it has gotten worse over the last 4 days and i was talking to some of my co workers and they said it could be a sciatic nerve problem? What are some of the symptoms and could this be what i have, it hurts to sit or stand and to walk and the pain is getting worse?

I am 24 Weeks preg. and having bad lower back pain on my R side, and the Doc says the baby may be on my Sciatic Nerve…and there is nothing he can really do except tell me to take Tylenol and use a heating pad and drink lots of water, possibly physical therapy…This all does not! sound great to me…I want to know if there is a chance the baby will move? I work with MRDD adults and I am on my feet a lot…it is miserable.

Does anyone know what to do to help the sciatic nerve? Like stretches or something? Mine is hurting real bad for the past week or so. I can barely walk and I definitely can’t bend over, not even the slightest bit. So help? Please and thank you.

how to get relief for leg pain from the sciatic nerve

i’ve had pain in my lower butt like down into my hamstring and i have scoliosis. could this be my sciatic nerve? is it hurting because of the scoliosis? could the nerve be pinched because of the scoliosis? is this bad? what do they do for this?

im having pain in my like and lower back and my mom said its my sciatic nerve, should i go see a doctor or will the pain eventually go away?

so back in november, I injured my piriformis. I’ve tried many treatments and am currently going to physical therapy for it. today, my doctor had his elbow on it and now my whole sciatic nerve hurts from my back to my ankle!! what could this be and how can I fix it?! please help! thanks!

My left butt cheek hurts! Is it my sciatic nerve? I came home from work for lunch and took a nap and when I got up, I immediately felt a sharp pain from my butt cheek all the way down my leg. It hurts to put any pressure on it and when im sitting down, it tingles a little. I have been bending and lifting heavy boxes all day…could that have caused something? Any help to whats wrong with me would be great!!

I have a very very intense sharp pain in my butt that runs a little bit up my back and down my leg.
It hurts when I step the wrong way, bend over, or bend to the side.
I called my mother, she said it’s most likely my sciatic nerve. She has problems with hers because her back twists at the bottom…

Any other ideas of what it could be? It’s very painful..

is it normal for my sciatic nerve to bother me at 8 almost 9 weeks??? or is it just my bed??

ok this may sound silly but I know my sciatic nerve is acting up pretty regularly since about weeks 35 but today when I walk it feels like I have little splinters in my feet like a poking sensation is this ok I also noticed and I’m really lucky it’s just now happening I have no ankles ……….could it be the swelling or the sciatica?thanx

HAVE COMPRESSION FRACTURES IN THORATIC, AND LUMBAR VERTABRE. HAVING SEVERE PAIN IN LEG PROBABLY CAUSED FROM THE SCIATIC NERVE.

The back of my leg hurts a lot, specially when I lift something heavy for a while. Has anyone ever had this problem and fixed it with chiropractic visits? I know it’s the sciatic nerve.

I have a sciatic nerve problem the pain is in my lower back, my bum and my thigh feels like its been punched. Vicodon doesn’t help I also have tried Motrin. The doc gave me Valium and I have xanax. I just would prefer something that isn’t going to zonk me out. Any sugestions? I just got back from an MRI but don’t have results.
