does anyone know where you can get a pillow in Australia that will help with this.. or even if they help at all… night time is becoming agony for me to sleep

Ive had a pinched nerve for two weeks, it feels like knife being pushed between my spinal bone. At times it feels like my viens is being pulled out of my arm, the pain hurts. I’ve had my back cracked, and twisted. I’ve read that it can last for months, I can hardly sleep.

What can I do ?

I heard that Xanax can "relax muscles" and my muscles are sore from working out at the gym, with my nerve (around shoulder/arm, idk) hurting extremely bad to the point where I want to go to sleep so I don’t have to suffer for a while. Would Xanax help at all?

My mom has sciatic nerve in her butt area and it shoots down her leg. It’s almost where her toes are numb (sometimes). She can’t sleep at night because of stabbing pains, eta… My moms question is, if a person has a short leg, can that cause sciatic nerve problems? What should she do?

I had a spinal fusion surgery on March 30th last year. Can I sleep on my stomach now?

I had an injury during gym last week and hurt my back badly. It hurts especially bad today and I can’t sleep because it hurts when I lay on my back, and on both sides. I know it’s the middle of the day, but I didn’t get much sleep last night due to the pain. O already took my pain pills the doctor prescribed about an hour ago but they’re not working. Please help! Thanks!

My father was caught between two halves of a double wide trailer at his hips, he was hung there for about a minute and a half until somehow one of his collegues wiggled one half of the trailer and got him lose (Thats all you need to know about HOW he got injured.) So anyways, He has compression on his spinal cord (We were in the ER for 23 dreadful hours with no sleep) and his pelvis is fractured in two places on one side. My stepmother did research and found that immediate surgery should take place. The hostpital sent him home with crutches when we left. They started to do surgery, but they didnt because of his bad history of anestesia problems (He had trouble waking up when he had hemerroid because he was on cocaine, which he no longer is.) So anyways, can anyone give proffesional advice? It would really help! *Also, he hasnt had a bowel movement since the accident, and he has to strain to pee. When he stops straining, he stops peeing.*

Im 28 weeks and have constant back problems, my back just does not seem to be handling the weight of my belly at all. Its so hard to find a comfortable position to sleep in, although on my side is the best. The pain in the back is really overtaking the joys of pregnancy, it makes everything harder and more horrible. What do you do to ease the pain? I tried heat packs, massages etc nothing works

It was really 7 but the last time they caught me sleeping in my vehicle on the side of the road. I just wanted to sleep it off before I drove any further.

In my lower back there is just an intense pain. An I just woke up with it. It hurt right in the middle of my sleep. Probably the best answer is go to the doctor. But what else is there to do to get rid of the pain? I took three Motrin IB’s.

It feels like my shoulder is on fire, and it shoots down almost the entire lenth of my left arm. It hurts when I sit and when I am laying down trying to sleep. Are there any remedies besides going to the hospital?

My foot burns and the doctor prescribed me Gabapentin which is a generic for Neurontin. I’ve been on it a week and have had no results. I also can’t sleep because of the pain and was prescribed a generic for Ambien which also does not work. I refuse to be in pain any longer. Can someone tell me what they took so I can tell the Doctor to prescribe it to me? I asked about a spinal block but they said it is to early as it has been a little over a month since surgery, but at this point I don’t care as I cry everyday from the terrible pain. Any help is appreciated!
Majority of people have said Neurontin does not work, should I ask for Lyrica which has seem to give a better result?
Well I’m going to go to emergency care unit and see if they can help me, my body won’t heal if I continue to lose sleep and be in pain all day.

So this lady hit me as i was turning. It wasnt a huge accident at all. she rear ended me and took off some paint and left a dent on the bumper. It is still in place. At the time i did not feel that i was injured. I felt good and went on with my day at work afterwards. After a couple of hours i felt a headache that steadily kept increasing in pain. When i got home from work my headache was pretty painful. I took Tylenol and took a shower. woke up today with my back sore and stiff. I thought itd be from work but ive been doing what i do for well over a year and a half now so i doubt it was work. And i’ve never felt pain like this. Its nothing to impede my ability to walk or work, but it is discomforting and makes it hard to sleep. Now i have contacted the other person’s insurance company and my Insurance company. They are in the proccess of investigating. Every that i talk to about this says that i should seek a lawyer in assistance to recieve compensation for the accident. My question is, Do i automatically receive a compensation for this accident. also, Do i need a lawyer to recieve any compensation? This isnt one of those "Oooh OMG Lawsuit!! Yay!!" things, its just that everyone tells me that I am entitled to some sort of settlement. Please, somebody explain. Thank You! OOh btw, I went to the doctor earlier today due to the pain, i was prescribed muscle relaxers and pain medication for spasms.

Do i need a lawyer in order to recieve compensation? Can i still be compensated witout a lawyer?
