I haven’t been able to have a doctor decalre me as unable to work for my social security claim.

Should i give my social security number to personal injury adjuster?

In California. If I won a personal injury lawsuit for slipping and falling at my job and now I am retired unable to work drawing social security disability is my husband entitled to my personal injury settlement?

Should I report this injury to Social Security? How would it impact my benefits? Would it be beneficial to me to report this injury?

Can anyone please recommend a work from home business that I can work with? Presently, my sole income is 7 per month and I have two children. Today, I was told from SSI that I have too high of an income to be eligible for this program. I am also not eligible for social security disability since I have not worked since 1993. I worked my whole life from 14 years of age, and stopped when I had my second child. I need help, and am praying that there is an angel out there who can guide me as to what to do. Thank you very much.

I recently retained an attorney in march of this year from injuries recieved in an automobile accident. Since then I noticed certain things while being represented by this law firm, such things as using my social security # for a case number, giving the wrong date of the accident with ins., co. Being hung up on by the attorney’s paralegal, and basically being disrespected. What should I do, or should I say what would you do?

I was treated right after the accident for whiplash. It’s in my medical records but then was unable to go to treatment for some time because of other problems but injury got worse now the chiropractor won’t work on me because he says the insurance company won’t usually pay after this time loss. Also the auto insurance company won’t preauthorize treatment and I can’t afford the a visit co-pay required for using my health insurance. I’m on Social Security.

I am in agony beyond belief. I cannot sleep. Seems that after nearly five years, my attorney did little to develop my PI case. Did not talk to the four witnesses, did not depose the defendants (owners of the art gallery).
Then, just 6 weeks before trial, he abruptly quit. Case worth 5,000 to 0,000.
5 years ago, at an art gallery a multi-paneled art object — 4 ft by 4 ft — broke from the wall & fell on me. Suffered soft-tissue neck injury. 4 witnesses. 5 doctors.
From the start, my Attorney said, We will have to go to trial. He suddenly quit just weeks before trial. Days before trial, Case so old judge would not grant me trial continuance. I settled for less than ,000. No choice. I plan to go to State Bar, then legal malpractice attorney. I was homeless, on welfare, this after working 6 years as software engineer. Lost everything I worked so hard for. Did get 100% Social Security disability. Needed compensation, though, to get back on feet.
