He had back surgery and will be out of work for a total of 6 weeks. Would he be able to somehow recoup his pay? How could we do this? Thanks in advance.

The doctor told my fiance a few months ago that he had a ruptured disk. He gets burning pains in his left leg when he stands or walks for more than a half hour or so, and he doesn’t want to go through surgery to correct the problem (we have heard it doesn’t really do much good, and also, we don’t have the money for it). Does anyone know what we can do that would be non-invasive to help the situation? Right now he’s using a cane, but that only helps slightly. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

my daughter was in daycare in july 2007, and her tooth was chipped and almost knocked out because a child was throwing batteries at her in her classroom. Their was no teacher present and that teacher and the rest of the faculty act as if they don’t care. What kind of lawsuit would i attempt to file and what kind of injury is that? The lawyers that I have attempted to contact said that they dont do those kind of cases. I live in Mississippi and any information that you give is helpful. Thanks in advance

I have been recently diagnosed with Sciatica. I have also had around 6 reccuring Urinary Tract Infections over the past few months. Both of these problems started at around the same time, and I’m wondering if there is any link between the two, as I have found nothing in my research.
Thanks in advance.

I’m a writer and I need to know this information for a story I’m writing. Two of the characters are in a car accident, and one of them is left in a wheelchair. I was just wondering if there are any other options that I could put into the story instead of ‘paralyzed from the waist down’ or something. So, could nerve damage leave my character in a wheelchair? I don’t want it to be temporary, btw. Any other suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance!

I’m not referring to Life Insurance. I mean why do they need a death certificate when removing a person as a driver on an auto policy or changing the primary insureds name on a home or flood policy? Isn’t that just adding insult to injury? I mean I don’t understand what they’re possibly protecting themselves from in this kind of situation? Thanks, in advance, for your answers.

PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS
My BAC according to arresting officer was .083. The blood work is due back in 2-weeks. This incident was back in August. I know the state has time to get their case together (this long I wouldn’t have imagined).
My lawyer is talking about getting it reduced to a DWAI. I am less concerned with the fines andmore about the classes and crap one has to take.
Am I better off taking the DWAI or going to trial? The officer pulled me over for "moving from lane unsafely" when I did in fact swerve to avoid a piece of roadkill in the road.
Any advice is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. Best answer lands the 10!

I was injured a few years ago i broke my back and injured my spinal cord. I was wondering if maybe there was somewhere online to search for grants, scholarships, or financial aid specifically for my situation. Does anyone know?
I would also appreciate info on where to find any site with something like a "grant list" or "scholarship list" where I could just look up all kinds of various options.
Thanks in advance for any help.
