I tried 2 explain to them what happened but they didnt listen. when they took me 2 the city jail i asked again for the breathalizer but they said their equipment wasnt working. the officer asked me to give blood and i didnt know what the blood was for because the officer didnt explain it 2 me so i told him no and i didnt know you could do that to find out someones alcohol level if i had known i would have given him blood. im fixing to find a lawyer to help me get the charges dropped. what do yall think will happen i live in texas.

they also gave me a field sobriety test i walked the straight, stood on one foot for balance, and the officer put the light in my eyes to check if they were dialated. I know i passed the sobriety test.
I didnot have any alcohol in my car or i did not have any drugs in my car or any drugs on me
i was not read any kind of rights except the miranda laws and when he took me 2 the city jail he just had me sign some papers and he took me 2 a cell

The offficer also asked me if i wanted 2 take the breathalizer when he first got me out of my car and i told him yes but he never gave it 2 me so thats why i had 2 ask him for the breathalizer tests.

late july 06 i was in a car accident with a man and his wife who ran a red light and hit the passenger side of my car. he hit the whole side of my car and broke the axle and ruined just the whole car out of whack! i had a witness who stopped to help he was going the opposite way of me so we had the same green light and stayed with me until the cops came. he did get a ticket for running the light. i did go to the hospital and went to physical therapy for my back and i got a hold of a lawyer, they said the car was fully insured but it wasnt his car and his name wasnt on the insurance coverage and theres really nothign they can do!!! is that really serious!!! this @#$$# ruined my car and he doesnt have to pay for nething????!! the lawyer takes forever getting back at me so what should i do?? help please! i havent driven that car cause im waiting for it to get fixed and the passenger door cant even open its getting the transmission redone 0.00 had the right wheel axle thingy5!!!

never been in trouble, DA claims to have a witness but he cannot be found by my lawyer. DA offers 1 yr probation. How bad is it? I was not even in the possession of my keys when cops arrived. Cop had to get them from another person at the scene. My lawyer wants to fight it, what options and does a class B misd really ruin your future?

Got into a car accident 7 months ago. guy with an ford F-250 (big truck) ran red light and totaled my 4cylinder camry. I had no insurance, stupid i know, but the fact is , it was not my fault!
A- police report said it was a NO FAULT.
B- cop at scene denied me a witness.
C- got a notarized written statement from the witness.
D- State Farm denied my witness as well!
E- months later State Farm sends me a 3.000 check. HALF of my totaled car’s damages
F- now a letter saying i must pay 6,300 in 30 days or i’ll be sued, suspened licesne and ruin credit!
!!! My car is still in my garage and everyone that’s seen it says you can tell that i got t-boned real hard and that it should be obvious that I GOT HIT!!!

Please any advice helps! what kind of lawyer do i need to seek? why would state farm send me money only to ask for money 4 months later? it doesn’t make sense.
my story is not all over the place and not full of holes, it is what it is. you say state farm wouldn’t pay me 3g’s then ask for more than double that back? well they did! i have the letter right here! i don’t get it either, which is WHY i am asking for advice genuises! they are now claiming it was my fault! but police reports say no fault! if you saw my car it’s obvious he was going fast enough to total. p.s. my car is still a mess in my garage! isn’t there a science that can prove this stuff? any other questions, just ask…i need genuine help, not snooty comments! what don’t you get?

yes i do have insurance now. the reason i’m gonna fight this so hard is because it really wasn’t my fault.
imagine this: you’re at a red light, waiting, you scan the radio in the meantime. THE CAR BEHIND YOU HONKS, you look up, the light is GREEN! i go to make my right turn. BAM! i get t-boned! btw, my witness is the lady that was behind me and honked! how in any way is this my fault? good thing is, i just found out that traffic light had a camera on it, so we might have footage. no one was hurt. only the guys grill got messed up, i took a picture! how is an old, rusty grill worth 6,300? yes i’ve learned my lesson, but i don’t feel i should have to pay a penny if i was in no way at fault! thanx again everyone!

Recently I was hit by a car. My leg and arm were broken and I had to get 22 stitches. I have hired an injury lawyer and have a witness who is speaking on my behalf. It is the fault of the driver that I was hit. How much, on average, would I earn if things worked in my favor? Would I recieve coverage for my medical bills and wages I have lost from not working?
